Company Overview -

Cargo Screening... Its What We Do.

Founded in 2009, ComSec International was established to assist the cargo industry with meeting the requirements of the Certified Cargo Screening Program, CCSP, implemented by the Transportation Security Administration. This program would require 50% of all cargo traveling aboard commercial aircraft be screened by February 2009 and later expand to 100% cargo screening on August 3, 2010.

Originally established as a CCSP consulting firm, ComSec initially consulted with the implementation of the CCSP pilot program at locations near the San Francisco International Airport. After several successful certifications from TSA, ComSec recognized the need to establish screening facilities at strategic gateways throughout the nation. Comsec

In August 2009, ComSec International, working with strategic partners at Smith's Detection, Trammel Crow Company and E4 Security Solutions, successfully established the first independent cargo screening facility or ICCSF at DFW International Airport.

Since then ComSec is currently working to establish other certified cargo screening facilities at 10 of the nation's key airport gateways.

"ComSec is an ideal - An ideal founded upon
character, integrity and honest work."

To understand the laws and regulations governing cargo movement and security in the world of international trade, it is important to have a firm grasp of the mechanics and the players involved. ComSec International has practical industry and government experience.
